My adult daughter and I booked a night here on the spur of the moment, and couldn't have been more delighted with our stay. The bar was atmospheric and our room was clean and modern. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Not only were they pleasant to guests, but they all also seemed to get on with each other, which made for a really welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was superb, and at no point did we feel rushed. The lunch we had in the beer-garden was delicious and excellent value for money. The Firth of Tay being a few steps away clinched it. We'll be back.

We have stayed in this gem of a place in Broughty Ferry several times, when visiting relatives.
The rooms are very comfortable, and the low-ceilinged bar is very atmospheric with a good range of real ales and other beers.
Handy for the beach, golf courses, fishing trips, or just exploring some of the local areas.

Room Tip: The superior double (room 5) is excellent

I have stayed in Dundee many times on Business and Family reasons,I have now stayed here a few times in the last 2 months, and find it one of the best Pubs with Bed & Breakfast. Clean rooms, good food, and unusually very good cask beer( for Scotland).their are not many. Broughty ferry is a great area to stay with many good B&Bs, pubs, and restaurants, and I have tried most of them. But for traditional quality and service this one of the best.

Room Tip: Top rooms are quieter. As the pub is lively. Nice lively!.

This hotel is a busy establishment in the middle of Broughty Ferry near Dundee. We chose it as it advertised ground floor rooms. We were allocated one of these which was freshly decorated with a large double bed and good bathroom.
The food was excellent, breakfast especially, when helpful staff produced whatever was asked for, in whatever amount was asked for.
We retired early on the first night and found it very noisy, but as soon as the bar closed, which was not too late, the noise stopped and we had a good night's sleep, so don't worry if there is some noise when you first go to bed!
I travel to Broughty Ferry 2-3 times a year and will definitely use this hotel again. 2 nights for 2 people including DBB a few drinks was £208

Room Tip: There are 2 ground floor rooms, and the others are upstairs. I don't think any have particularly good views, but Broughty Ferry Harbour is only 100m away.

We booked here for an overnight stay having read good reviews on trip advisor. The room was freshly decorated and quiet considering the tavern is pretty busy. The choice of food for dinner was pretty reasonable as were the prices. The quality was great as was the taste. Breakfast in the morning did not disappoint either. The staff in the busy bar were friendly and very attentive. I would have no hesitation in recommending this little gem of a hotel, based on our experience.

Room Tip: Book early. There are only a few rooms and it appears to be well frequented
