The service here is actually ok. Attentive staff who get the orders correct, and aren't too intrusive. It's the food that lets the place down, well that and being surrounded by Friday night drinkers.
The food is pretty average, and portion-wise is not nearly adult-sized. The wine list was fine and the tables were clean, but there's not enough separation from the heaving bar, Thus intimacy, conversation and any attempts at quiet conversation: forget it. consequently a trip to the toilets mean wading through the crowds. It would be better if the dining area had its own toilets.
