Stayed the week whilst "doing" Scotland. Based here whilst going to the Military Tattoo in Edinburgh, Royal Yacht Britannia (also down Edinburgh way) and the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine. Rooms just fine, food good and staff very pleasant and smiling. We were part of a tour group and most seemed happy with the four nights stay there. Some were not totally happy but that's to be expected with largish Groups. A couple of communication problems with special dietary needs were evident for a couple of Guests so best check when you arrive that you are known about. We slept like logs although a couple complained about what they thought was lack of sound proofing. What you are used to I guess. Any minor problems we had were addressed immediately so overall deserving of a "Very Good" rating.

Room Tip: We didn't explore the immediate area around the Hotel and simply used it as a base for going els...

Positives: Nice rooms, comfy beds and friendly staff...average hotel. Lady on reception was helpfull and welcoming Negatives: clinical feel to the restaurant and bar, lacking in atmosphere, food average, drinks pricey. Wine waiter seemed to get more wine on the table than in our glass.

Me & my fiancé like to get away child free for a relaxing night away from time to time and decided to stay at the park hotel this time. Have to say the place is spotless & the staff are very nice and helpful, the room was huge and the bed was comfy which is always a good thing. Went to the blues restraunt for dinner which was amazing food & portions were decent they also have fosters on tap which is my favourite so It couldn't have been a better meal for me. Overall we had a great stay, superb meal, good nights rest & good breakfast to start the next day so we will be back soon

Stayed only 1 night, 2nd time we have stayed though in a few years. Surprisingly large rooms, modern furnishings, comfortable beds. Only thing we would fault with the room is no minibar fridge, we had a 1yo and so needed to keep milk cold. Had a family dinner in the blues restaurant in the evening, food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was standard - cereals, continental and Scottish hot on demand. Would stay again and wouldn't really consider anywhere else in Kilmarnock, although there is limited choice if you want a nice hotel.

Had a short stay with a golfing group. Ideal location for local amenities and golf courses. Difficult to find anything bad about this hotel. Open and airy public spaces; rooms are big with comfy beds and good showers; staff are friendly and helpful. Short of the individuality that would get an "excellent" but nevertheless a good place to stay.

Stayed overnight, ample parking and it seemed that the place was not busy. The young lady who checked me in was pleasant and helpful. My room was of a decent size with everything you would expect in a 4* hotel. I took a room service dinner and it was very nice, not too expensive and promptly delivered.

Breakfast was good as it is cooked individually for you and not left to sweat on a hotplate, again the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Even though the place was sparsely populated I seemed to have a clog dance troupe rehearsing in the room above me, not really the hotels fault, the constant walking about ceased at 10:30 which was just about when I was going to do something about it, I got a very good night's sleep.

I ordered a newspaper, which I didn't get, but it still was on my bill and they would have let me pay for it even though the lady at the front desk seemed to know that I had not received it.

Overall this is a very clean and comfortable place but it does seem a little soul-less and is in a strange place located between a residential area and the football stadium, however it was not hugely expensive and I will use it again if in the area.

Stayed here last Saturday night as part of a wedding party. Efficient check in (very pleasant girl) and a nice clean modern room. Bought a "pre wedding" drink to tide us over in the bedroom whilst getting ready - first place I have EVER been where a pint costs more than a glass of Prosecco, so if your gal likes fizz - this is the place! Great piont though - Bierra Moreti! Got back to hotel after wedding at 1.00am - KILLING heartburn from the wedding dinner (not an excess of wine!!) and the night porter had Rennies!!!!! ACE Customer care! Sunday morning breakfast was a delicious and freshly cooked affair, not your "self serve" buffet lying in grease and getting cold under "hot lamps".
