Owner description: The Jam House is your one stop destination for food, drink, and live music.Dusky purple lights cast romantic shadows on the walls of this funky, jazz-centric venue. Guests dine on the balcony above the main stage where soulful musicians entertain throughout the evening. This is one venue where you can eat, drink and dance to your heart's content

First time here and really enjoyed it. The food was very nice, wine started at £15 a bottle and the place had a good atmosphere. Wishbone Ash were playing, not my kind of music although I did enjoy the support act. Would definitely come again. If there was a band I wanted to see I'd book a table for a meal rather than just buy the concert ticket as it could work out better value.

Thank Debbie H

Went to the jam house after watching the lion king, pretty quiet the DJ made up for this by playing some fantastic tunes. Everyone in the place seemed to be up for a good time which made the lack of numbers seem not to be a problem.Bar staff their usual 1st class job always polite & always a smile & a thankyou. Goodnight will deffo return on my next visit to Edinburgh.

This was a really good night spoiled by having to stand for ages at the bar
The two bars were open but only 3 bar staff working them which was not enough for the crowd that attended this concert. I felt sorry for the staff as they were working to the Max but still there was a queue wiating to be served

First timer here. Came along on both Friday and Saturday nights...Wasn't planned either...Friday night was specifically to see Ben E King and Jimmy James and the Vagabonds. Two almighty legends and by goodness they didn't disappoint. Great show that lasted for a good 2 1/2 hours at least. The venue itself is large and has good bar areas with plenty of room. Service at the bar was good, however could have done with more staff on duty due to the busy nature of the venue. We stayed on after the live performances and danced the night away. Great selection of old and current music played by the venue's DJ.
Came back on the Saturday night after trying a couple of other venues in George Street first. To be honest they didn't really match our great night from the previous night and we were worried that if we returned after having a such a good night, we would be disappointed. We arrived just as the resident band were finishing for the night. Wow, the place was rammed. Loads of groups of women, young and old. The place was jumping as the DJ took over for the night. Bars packed with really great looking people having a good night out. What a find. We will certainly be back.
