Stopped for late lunch/early dinner before our train home. Seated straight away, food good as always... Not really for a romantic meal, but a bit more than a cafe..

The menu choices for lunch are wide ranging and tasty. The pate was excellent and the crevettes delicious and nicely accompanied by plenty of thinly sliced baguette. Service was a little bit slow, but we were in no hurry

My family and I had a great time at Cafe Rouge. The service was friendly and the food was quite delicious. I myself had two starters - the onion and pate rouge - which were hearty and wonderful. However, my niece had the croque monsieur, which I thought looked a little limp and sad. The other dishes were well received though. We have been to another Cafe Rouge - the one in Gatwick - and have also found the food to be quite good and the service helpful. Good value-for-money in all.

The place was very busy and we were seated by the kitchen door which meant that the door was opening and closing every 20 seconds. The atmosphere is just very noisy and not relaxing at all. Food was OK the steak was nice, however, it is extremely overpriced. This is prob better served as an actual cafe or quick bite to eat for lunch

Visited restaurant on a Wednesday in early June 2014 at around 5pm.
Fairly quiet but the atmosphere was pleasant enough. I had steak and my wife had chicken. Both dishes were full of flavour and well presented. Accompanied by a glass of wine the meal did the trick.

Staff pleasant and unobtrusive.
