“Good food”
Reviewed 9 December 2013

We needed to grab a quick bite before the panto and this was perfect. It was quiet and we managed to get a nice selection of sushi and other dishes. Service and food were both good. Not massively bowled over but pleased nonetheless and if we were passing this end of town again I wouldn't hesitate to pop in.

“Pretty average - there are better places”
Reviewed 14 October 2013 via mobile

Little cafe at Tollcross with quite expensive sushi. Not particularly appealing. miso Soup was awful. Works out at about £12 a head for a mediocre lunch. It's a cafe rather than a restaurant and is distinctly average and not very appealing. There are several places in the area which are much better

“Saturday night after the movies food”
Reviewed 16 September 2013

Had a really nice experience here on a Saturday night after the festival had finished.

Ordered the chicken skewers to start (highly rate these), and some vegetable california rolls as a side with the chicken teryaki main.

All of the food was of good quality and really didn't have any complaints. The only small issue may have been that the main wasn't quite big enough. I ended up ordering a hand roll to go (somewhat like an ice cream cone with filling, but with seaweed as the cone - recommend it!)

Ended up spending £25 which was maybe a bit more than I had hoped, but will definitely come again.

“Great sushi at great prices”
Reviewed 21 August 2013

I have no complaints about this place: the service was quick and good, the sushi was some of the best I've had in the UK, and the prices are great. Not a fancy restaurant - more of a little local - but overall great.

“Expensive lunch”
Reviewed 17 August 2013 via mobile

We called here for a spot of lunch as my partner & I both enjoy Japanese food. We shared a ngiri & sashimi mixture as a starter. This was freshly made & very tasty. They have a very limited menu which meant we both ended up with teriyaki. Although this was quite pleasant it was not worth the £13 we paid. For 3 mains one if which we shared as a starter. Along with 2 cokes a total bill of £42.
