“The best there is in Edinburgh!”
Reviewed 25 March 2014

The Clelland Family are the standard bearers of everything that is so wonderful about staying at a B&B in Scotland! Warm, Welcoming, Beautifully decorated rooms with nice little touches of home baked goods and candies, and a breakfast in the morning that could not be beaten in a 5 Star Resort.
Our room was the Park Suite at the front of the house, extremely spacious and a huge en suite bathroom. The bed's are the comfiest we have stayed in so far. You will not want to leave!
It is ideally situated for seeing all of the sights of the city. There is a bus stop right outside but it is also an easy 15 min walk into the main thoroughfare. And an added bonus if you have a car is the availability of on street parking that's free right outside the door. We are sorry to leave this lovely home BUT know we will return again soon!

Louise & Shona provide a warm welcome into their home. With just 3 rooms it has a very homely feel. Our room was on the first floor, the Garden room. It was spacious, well appointed & wonderfully quiet with a great en-suite and very comfortable bed. Delicious homemade treats were provided too!
Millers 64 offer a great choice at breakfast, ranging from a full Scottish, delicious porridge & wonderful homemade jams to accompany fresh toast.
The location worked well for us, close enough but not in the centre if Edinburgh. A 20min walk takes you down to the Shore and some excellent eateries. Louise also provided some great advice on things to do & places to eat.
We'll certainly be returning again this year!

We decided to spend a five day Hogmanay break at Millers 64 following research on trip advisor. We are delighted to add our own comments to the already extensive positive reviews. A warm welcome after a delayed rail journey quickly made us feel at home and our room, the Park Suite lived up to reports and photographs. Excellently equipped, beautifully clean, very warm and comfortable, we were always looking forward to getting back after our days in the City. The bathroom was as good as any we have enjoyed around the world!

The breakfast menu offered both quality and variety and set us up for our days out. The availability of information and advice enabled us to select where to eat and visit and the 11 buses meant the location was excellent for reaching both the City and Leith.

We are already planning our return! Roy and Marsha Smith, Staffordshire

Room Tip: The Park Suite did suffer from traffic noise but for us the room dimensions and quality more than co...

Stayed for 3 nights and was not disappointed. Due to needing to accommodate a guest's needs Louise upgraded us to a different room the Park room at the front of the house. It was huge! It was also spotless. Lovely comfy bed and pillows. Huge bathroom. Being on the street there was a little noise from the street but hubby didn't notice and I wear ear plugs. millers64 is on a bus route, the 11 but also only a 15-20 min walk into town. There are lots of places to eat in the area as well as others further afield. Should we come bak to Edinburgh we would china telly stay there and recommend to friends and family

Room Tip: Ak for a room at the bak as this will be slightly quieter. Even so we both got a good nights sleep

We found Millers 64 a very comfortable, welcoming and convenient place to stay while in Edinburgh. We appreciated Louise's hospitality and helpfulness, and enjoyed the atmosphere of this lovely house in a great location. Within walking distance or an easy bus ride, in one direction you have Leith with restaurants and attractions or in the other direction the city centre.

Stayed here at the end of September 2013. Louise was a very friendly hostess, welcoming us with a pot of tea on arrival after showing us to our room. Her home made shortbread was to die for!
The room was lovely - clean, spacious and the comfy bed ensured we got a good night's sleep.
Breakfast was exceptional - so much choice - cereal, toast, yogurt and of course full Scottish (among other options) too.

The only downside was the location - a 20/25 minute walk to the city centre, however the bus service is frequent and is located within spitting distance of the front door. Good value too at £1.50 for a single (or £3.50 a day).

Would highly recommend and hopefully stay again one day.

Super stylish rooms with a south east asian flavour to the overall decor, reflecting the interests and origins of the delightful hostesses. Scottish parents, Malaysian raised Louise makes you instantly welcome and plies you with homemade shortbread and Tablet, possibly the sweetest item in a sweet Scottish culinary tradition!! Every comfort is provided in the well appointed bedroom and bathroom, where the beautiful beaten metal sink is an instant talking point - and you can't say that about a sink very often! High quality and aromatic soaps, lovely fluffy towels and beds you could live in. Sophistication and attention to detail that you would be impressed to find in a five star hotel. To cap it all, the vegetarian breakfast was superb!

Room Tip: They all looked lovely. We stayed in the garden room, which was really quiet.
