“Great food but poor service!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014 via mobile

The food is excellent which is a shame because it's paired with wait staff that doesn't give a krap about its customers.

Sat almost 15 min before they came over then waited 20 min for our drinks. After getting the food the next time we saw them is when I flagged them down for the bill.

“Loved this place!”

Hands down this restaurant had the very best Cullen Skink (fish chowder) in Edinburgh. We tried it several places and Bobby's was the best!

“Great location”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2014

This restaurant was typical of pub food, which is not my favorite. It did have a good variety of whiskey to choose from which was nice. The best part of it is the location near the Greyfriars' Bobby statue. It is convenient to pop in there for a decent meal and a beer.

“Tasty food and good beer”

Popped into this bar after visiting the statue of Greyfriars Bobby which is just outside. The food was delicious and not overpriced for being on the tourist trail. The interior was very traditional but nicely done. The staff were very friendly. Would definately visit again. Oh and more importantly my partner enjoyed the traditional ale.
