visited this place recently after being going for a few years now and was very disappointed- paid nearly £14 for a very below average pub curry and my wife's dish came with potato wedges by aunt Bessie which were soggy and smelled and tasted of old cooking oil - in my opinion the chef has no imagination and needs replaced-i've previously had beautiful home made hand cut chips here-obviously can't be bothered now along with the tired, had enough owners-this place needs a shake up to make it vibrant again, like it used to be when you had to book it was that busy!!!!!

We came back here after taking the kids horse ridding.

The kids had burgers and chips which were excellent and home made! Big plus for us and kids

My wife and I had battered fish and chips which were more like whale sized portions.

We finished with ice cream for the kids and rhubarb and custard pie and a chocolate gateau.

And coffees

See you again in a fortnight as its awesome here.

Visited Braidburn today at lunchtime as a group of 15. Very warm welcome. Both staff and Manager were very attentive. Drinks served to the table quickly. As was the food - which was delicious. No complaints from any of us - and shall definitely return.
Thank you for a very pleasant lunch.

Found this pub on the Tesco voucher site when looking for places we could use them while on a trip to Edinburgh.
Bar well stocked, and the menu is good. Our food was lovely and we couldn't have asked for more. It did get a little chilly later on, but then again, we were north of the border in March!
We would recommend this pub to anyone, and if you've got Tescos vouchers, it is exceptional value.
