What a strange thing to deep fry, but their deep fried Mars bar was spectacular. This was the only thing I ate there. There was nothing else special about this place; a tiny little place on the Royal Mile that is take away only. They only open sometime after 4:30pm on a Saturday. One of the other adjacent merchants told me that. I couldn't find their hours online, nor on their door. But this self-proclaimed chocolate addict is glad he visited.

There are some benches opposite so, on a sunny day (a rarity, I confess), you can sit on the Royal Mile eating perfect, freshly cooked fish'n'chips.

Tucked away at the bottom of the Royal Mile Bene serves the best fish suppers n Edinburgh.
The fact that you are often asked to wait a few minutes means the food is freshly cooked and piping hot.

Given the unpredictable weather in Edinburgh it is absolute luxury to have fish and chips delivered quickly to your home by the smiling, charming chef. Don't forget to ask for that Edinburgh speciality "chip sauce".

Fish'n'chips sold there is absolutely delicious. The meal is very big and fish is fresh. What is interesting, Prince Edward and Princess Sophie sent their driver to buy there meals for them when they resided in the Palace of Holyrood.

We decided to try this local delicacy and benes was on our way to the hotel so we quickly stopped there.

Staff was very friendly, they do fried mars bars, snickers and twix.
We went for the original dessert. We only got one and shared it because we heard that it is too heavy. We actually really enjoyed it and would definitely go back to get another one if we were not so worried about our beautiful physiques.
