Description: Located in the heart of trendy Leith, The Granary offers the perfect mix of hearty food, quality drinks and live entertainment. The Granary's atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Colourful rugs soften its wooden floors, whilst replica barn doors and old-fashioned kitchen utensils add an interesting twist. Boasting both charm and comfort, this space is ideal for mingling with friends, intimate dinners or private celebrations. Customers can enjoy live music every Wednesday to Saturday night in a relaxed atmosphere. A large mezzanine level and ground floor dining room divide the space into two stylish but homely compartments. As for the menu, the Granary's signature dish, the classic Chicken Balmoral, is certainly not one to look past. Although Scottish inspired, the menu moves far beyond just traditional meals. Desserts of particular note are the Cheesecake of the day and the Equis Scottish tablet ice cream. Free wifi is also available, ideal for those working lunch breaks or a simple nosey on Facebook. Numerous bus routes run directly from the Granary to the city centre, this making transport a breeze. Ample free on street parking is also available.

“Great Spot”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

The Granary is an excellent place for a night out or just an afternoon refreshment. Great live music, especially the Jammy Devils who get the place jumping on a Friday night. Barman Tom Brown provides a five star service. Very friendly and professional! Long may this service and atmosphere continue. The place had went down hill for a while but refreshing new staff and live music has brought it back to life! Afraid I can't comment on the food as haven't eaten here but the menu looks lovely so hope to try it soon!

“Amazing bar staff!”
Reviewed 13 July 2014 via mobile

A couple of nights ago, I was served by Ali and Max, a great pair of young guys. They were very accommodating and helpful guys! Ali makes the best mojitos in Edinburgh!! Raspberry mojito being my favourite. Would recommend the Granary to anyone due to the pure fact these guys are great at what they do and have great crack. Thank you :)

“Out for a run”
Reviewed 12 July 2014 via mobile

Out for a run and stopped at leith, excellent for parking. Then we went into the granary for a coffee, really pleasant staff very friendly. We then.went to Ocean terminal for a spot of shopping, really poor shopping experience. Came out and went back to the main leith water area and went back into the granary. We both had fish and chips which I found to be really nice but my wife found to be a wee bit greasy. Again staff were very attentive and friendly.
my wife said that with the view and the atmosphere it felt like we were on holiday. A great day away.
