It is in a good location and the airport bus stops in front of it. There is a somerfeild just opposite and the main areas are within walking distance. The rooms were generally clean but had this dusty building site smell as you walk to your apartment (which you could taste). We weren't told about the building work going on, but were awoken at 8 am by the banging - so much for the lie in.
This stated it had a kitchenette and suitable for self-catering, but it misses one vital thing with self catering - the hob (no oven either). It had toaster, kettle, sink, and fridge. But you could get most of this in a hotel too. They had difficulty locating a hair dryer for us - although they did manage to get one in the end.
The breakfast was pretty late if you wish to start out early - from 8:30.
If you are after clarity and consistency in rooms/presentation and service - then go to a hotel. If you are after a place to chill out and have your own beers from the fridge then this could be for you.
There is a Trvelodge due to open opposite may give this a try next time - as the advisertised prices are around half what we ended up paying.
