Stayed at Hotel Missoni in order to attend a Catherine the Great Party. Hotel was great in every regard. If you want somewhere smart, relaxed and helpful with a great buzz about it, Hotel Missoni is for you.

Decor in rooms and room furnishing great. Overall service levels first class. A real pleasure.

This hotel is in the heart of Edinburgh. In walking distance to everything...bus, train, shopping, restaurants, the Edinburgh castle, the Queen's Palace, and much more! The rooms are clean and new with air conditioning. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here for two wet nights in Edinburgh - we didn't notice the elements though and this was partly due to the sleek, chic and bold colours and styling of our hotel.

The little touches - Nespresso machine in the room, B&O entertainment system, free snacks + drinks, rainfall shower etc were brilliant.

The staff were excellent and even remembered my name, room number and where we were dining each day without any prompting!

We didn't try the restaurant though the bar was very good - who could argue with prosecco on tap?

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and/or frequent this hotel in the future.

I knew it was going to be a great stay when we were greeted but a very friendly and sexy member of staff in a kilt ! Check-in was effortless and staff were very helpful and willing.
We stayed in room 232 - on the corner of the building with views on to the Royal mile.
We loved everything about this hotel- the room comfortable and stylish. Minibar and coffee/tea facilities refilled every day and free of charge ( no alcohol) . Nespresso machine in the room.
The shower was great and the bed very comfortable. Decor is very modern so if you like the more traditional styled hotels this may not be the place for you.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We also had plenty of drinks at the bar always served with a generous portion of nut and others mixtures.
We didn't dine at the restaurant as we had pre booked two other restaurants ( The Kitchin and Martin Wishart - which were superb ! ). We had the lunch menu one day in The Grain Store on Victoria Street - right out of the hotel and then right again ! - which was delicious and very reasonable ).
Despite the rain we had a wonderful 3 days and staying at Missoni definitely played a big part of it !

Room Tip: 232 views onto the Golden Mile . Other rooms have views to an internal courtyard.

It is a beautiful and modern hotel, as you can expect from a hotel with a Missoni brand. The decoration is wonderful, the rooms of good size and Bang and Olufsen apliances all around the room.
It is a point in Edinburgh, what means if you like a silent and lonely lobby this is not a place fited for you.
For this class of hotel, there is some sins:
One of the Missoni bathrobes for the guest was ripped (and was promptly replaced when I asked for).
The restaurant is poor to regular (both menu and service)
I recommend, for very few days, as an alternative to the staying at a Classic hotel in Edinburgh

Room Tip: High floors have less lobby and street noise
