If you're a seafood lover, this is the one place in Edinburgh that you cannot miss. You'll find the freshest, tastiest versions of everything you've ever loved from the ocean here. Go hungry, as portions are huge. Service was solid, but not amazing. Doesn't matter, though, because they could spit in your face and double the prices ... and you'd still enjoy the hell out of their seafood.

My partner and I dined her back in July. A small and cosy restuarant with atmosphere and beautiful decor. Both being seafood fans we had this on our list as a must try and were not disapointed. We both had cullen skink for starters, a very generous portion full of flavour and fish. My partner had the king hand dived scallops for his main, as a big scallop fan he was not disapointed and said they were by far the best he had ever tried. I had turbot as halibut was not available due to sustainability; nice to see a restuarant paying attention to fish supplies and offering tasty alternatives. After such lovely food we managed to squeeze a creme brulee in to finish! The staff were very knowledgable and helpful. The owner was even working the restuarant floor and was also extremely friendly and helpful. Great food, great atmosphere in beautiful surroundings. Will certainly be visiting again when in this gorgeous city.
