Have just come back from a two night stay in Queens Guest House and it was lovely. Spotless clean and what a lovely room. The breakfast was delicious and we were so central to everything. Staff could not do enough for us. The only thing I would say if you take the car it is not easy to find a space during the day. You would probably have to park in a multi-story which was about 15 minutes away. We were very lucky as we found a great traffic warden who showed us a placed to park, whereby we left the car there for two days without paying a penny. How lucky can you get.

Room Tip: We were in room 5 which was the disabled room. It was massive and had everything you needed.

The hotel is in a great location for the castle and the royal mile. The wonderful staff even helped with our laundry as we had been traveling for quite some time. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I recently stayed at this delightful guest house with my mum and sister for a couple of nights. The room slept five and was lovely, clean and spacious with a great size en-suite bathroom. Excellent location just behind Princes Street. Breakfast was tasty with a good choice. The staff where very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here over half term and found it to be exactly what we wanted!
The room and en suite were both large and very clean.
The breakfast was cooked fresh to order each morning, which was a treat!
All the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great!
We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for three nights during half term. Excellent location really close to Princes Street and city centre. Huge room for five, very clean and had a lovely en suite bathroom. Very good choice for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. Good price booked through booking.com

Back from a weekend break in this lovely city centre hotel.

I thought this hotel was an excellent price, and (especially considering the price) had a very classy, elegant feel about it. The décor is understated and classic, the place itself feels very warm and welcoming, especially in Edinburgh temperatures in January/February!

It’s central for all tourist attractions and for the shops, bars and lovely restaurants around.

I’ve read a few negative comments about the breakfast, but I couldn’t fault it. Had a lovely full Scottish breakfast each day we stayed, and you get a choice of how you want your eggs, what kind of sausage you want and whether you want haggis or black pudding. There are lighter options available too. The breakfast room is airy and spacious, and eating a delicious breakfast there, served by the friendly staff is just a lovely way to start the day.

I’ve already recommended this hotel to a relative, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to fellow Trip Advisor browsers.

Hotel, clean and tidy, slightly obscure "unattended" guest house, polite staff, adequate breakfast....but fro just after midnight through to 02:30, loud music with big bass, lots of laughter, attempted singing and rap. Probably not in the hotel rooms but Room 8 must be adjacent to another property or night club. avoid at all costs unless you are a very heavy sleeper or don't want to be asleep before 3am. We won't stay again.

Room Tip: Just stay out of room 8
