Description: No matter where you are in Spain, a moments walk from the main tourist traps will almost always immerse you in the hustle and bustle of real Spanish life- busy bars and restaurants full of animated discussions conducted over fresh, homemade food. With this in mind, we selected our home of 19 Shore Place as the perfect venue to recreate this wonderful ambiance in Edinburgh.

Ate at Tapa last night. Good surroundings with a nice atmosphere. The service was good. The food is delicious and varied. Delicious cheeses and meat assortment. The black pudding with quails egg was particularly fine.
The house wine was a big pricey, but overall it was a very enjoyable meal. I would definitely recommend.

Been to Tapa twice now & have been blown away by the super friendly service & amazing food each time. All the staff are friendly & helpful & seem genuinely happy to be there. The food is extremely tasty. Especially loved the short ribs, the beef shin croquettes & the cod & prawn skewers. The wind is also top notch. Will be back.

I've visited Tapa several times with my family, friends and boyfriend and it's always such a lovely meal. Visited yesterday for lunch with my boyfriend and the food was delicious. Generous portions and great service. Will definitely be back again soon.

We had 2 Itison vouchers for this restaurant . One of our daughters couldn't come out that evening so we booked for 3 of us .
It is tucked away round the side ( so no view ) in a lovely old building .
The place was very quiet at 6.30 pm but did fill up very quickly , busy when we left .
They had to turn customers away which surprised me as they also had a large room at the back with plenty of tables .
The tapas were delicious ! And the service was quick !
The tortilla was like nothing else I have tasted ,and the pork belly delicious not fatty at all .
The only thing I didn't like was it got too warm as the place filled up .
They need to have some ventilation , that's the only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars

We had a lovely time at tapa! The restaurant is nicely decorated and cosy! The food was very good, especially the pesto that comes with the bread and the carrillada. The service was lovely and the staff very attentive! Highly recommended!
