“Another great stay”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

We have just had another great stay in the Travelodge Cameron Toll. Newly decorated, new bathroom, all good! Staff lovely as usual, very friendly. Wouldn't book anywhere else for a stay in Edinburgh, great for the price, and only 5-10 mins on the bus to the centre.

Room Tip: Have had a larger room with a "view", and a smaller room on ground / basement floor with n...

Small room but clean & comfiest bed & pillows I have ever had in a hotel. Staff were friendly & helpful, breakfast good value in pleasant surroundings. No sample size toiletries & had to ask for a hairdryer so had to go to shop, more about convenience rather than cost though. Great value for money all in all.

We stayed at Travelodge Cameron Toll for one night on Sat 22nd March. This was our second stay so we new which bus to catch etc. On arrival had a great welcome and a fast check in. The room was spotless, new comfy beds and great looking bathroom. You get what you pay for. Check out again great, we stayed in the Travelodge on Princes Street the next night, Kris at Cameron Toll rang them to see if we could check in early or leave our bags and was really helpful! We will be back!

Always look forward to staying at this newly upgraded hotel with free car parking.
Handy for getting buses into town. Car parking can be a nightmare with so many work men's white vans taking up 2 car parking spaces. Small car parks gets too cramped.

Hi there,

Arrived for a one night stay at the hotel, easy to find, parking good. Not allowed early check in even though room free before 3pm unless you pay £10. Welcome to the 21st century!
Breakfast pretty good actually, although could be busy I guess due to size of place. Rooms basic and bathrooms like a university dorm style.
Beds and pillows very uncomfortable, price depends on when you go, rooms are not very sound proof, staff pretty good and it should be mentioned that there are internal locked doors on the floors to the corridors which is strange, unless of course there are 'after dark' goings on.............?
Would we stay again, dont think so but your choice, your money.

Arrived at hotel on Saturday 8.3.2014 for a one night stay with my wife, the hotel was busy with it being Scotland playing France at rugby. The bar was very reasonably priced and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was spotless and comfortable......couldn't fault it.
Breakfast was fantastic with a range of fresh grilled food and mixture of cereals and yogurts.
Anyone that finds fault with this hotel should stay at home!!!!

This is a Travelodge that does its job extremely well. Clean, bright, functional. Bed very comfortable. Located on major bus routes to the city, free parking. The management work very hard to help the guests make the most of their visit, giving details of buses, ordering rafts of taxis, getting a lot of people through breakfast in a small cafe area efficiently and without fuss. Likely to stay again due to convenience and standards of service.
