“Clean and bright, good parking”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2014

Had a ground floor room overlooking car park. Noise level was minimal but rooms at front of building may be noisier as they overlook a main road junction. Easy access to city centre by several buses from directly outside hotel - £3.50 is cost of an all day ticket. Walked into Edinburgh twice for a change, direct route and took about 35 minutes. Some excellent places to eat en route.

Staff at hotel were super, looked after our cases when we arrived early and were a mine of information on buses, things to do etc. Very welcoming and friendly.

We stayed here for one night and were pleasantly surprised by the size of our family room. Other members of our party seemed somewhat disappointed with their rooms after seeing ours! The room was clean, comfortable and reasonably quiet. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was reasonable. Car parking was free. Seems to be good value.

It is in a great location, with excellent public transport links to the city center. The rooms are well presented, clean & tidy. The staff were all polite & friendly, and the food was lovely & well presented.

Excellent, well run Travelodge! We were allocated a corner room which was very spacious. Could not fault the cleanliness of the room and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff on reception could not have been more helpful throughout our 3 night stay. As an added bonus, there was a bus stop directly opposite the travelodge with regular buses into the city centre. Extremely good value for money accommodation!

Room Tip: We were allocated a corner, family, room in the older part of the building which was extremely spaci...

Friendly, welcoming and professional staff. Superb Bar Café with a good menu. Plenty of choice for my vegetarian friend. The breakfast offers a great range. The new dreamer bed is incredibly comfortable and the duvet and pillows enveloped you into a cosy sleep! The bed was that comfy, and the weather that bad, I stayed in and just relaxed in the room! Great location with the bus straight to the city centre outside the hotel. Free parking and a large parking with disabled parking too. The Cameron Toll shopping centre just a five minute walk away. My first choice when staying in Edinburgh!
