My wife and I stayed at the Cameron Toll Travelodge for 2 nights whilst visiting the Tatoo. It is very convenient, easily found on a major road into the City Centre. It is about 30 minutes walk from the Travelodge to the Royal Mile, but several bus routes go past every few minutes at a cost of £1.50 each, or you can buy a Day Ticket for £3.50 each. Parking is free, but with limited spaces. Checking-in was efficient and the welcome friendly. The room facing the rear car park was quiet and we had 2 quiet nights sleep. We did not use the ground floor restaurant and bar. The Cameron Toll Shopping Centre is conveniently exactly over the road to the Travelodge, and we had a nice breakfast there at Sainsbury each morning at low cost. Overall a perfectly pleasant stay at the Cameron Toll Travelodge.

We spent 2 comfortable nights here & were well received by competent & helpful staff (particularly the lady from Bridgend). Room was good sized but with such a silly little washbasin that you couldn't fill the mini kettle! Another minus was the smoking area. Thanks to a recent guest who, I was reliably informed had 2 smelly dogs in his room, smoking was barred outside either of the two entrances. At least the thoughtful staff provided umbrellas when it rained! Of the Travelodges I have stayed in I would place this one second only to Sheffield Meadowhall would certainly stay here again.

Very welcoming staff greeted us. Family room was spacious enough - very clean. Were able yo leave the car and travel into Edinburgh by bus. Bus stop located just across road. Very frequent bus service - only £7.50 for family which included unlimited day travel on buses and teams. Overall a very pleasant place to stay and very convenient for getting into Edinburgh.

This hotel is well placed on the outskirts of city centre on a well provisioned bus route. The whole place was neat and tidy and despite being on the main road side never heard much traffic, even during the rush hour. The breakfast was as good as more expensive hotels and the staff / reception team were very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel special.

I stayed with my boyfriend for 3 nights, we originally booked separate nights at different Travelodge hotels due to reduce availability!
At Cameron Doll we had a fantastic stay! The place is very clean and comfortable, wifi worked perfectly. They have free car park and a bar cafe open until early hours in the morning. The food we had was delicious and not too expensive. Receptionists Gavin and Malvin were absolutelly brilliant, they helped us transfer the other bookings over to Cameron Doll which made it so much easier and enjoyable for us! This two members of staff, as well as the Polish chef were so proffesional, helpful and happy, they clearly enjoy their job very much!
I have nothing negativ to say about this place and would recommend it to friends and family, we'll definitely return!
Thank you guys for making our stay memorable!! Keep up the good work!
