Stopped at the Howard for a few nights. Decided to try the evening meal on the first night. Two courses £29, or three courses £34. We went for the starter and main option although I paid an additional £6 supplement for the steak.
The food was fantastic, steak cooked to perfection. Could have maybe done with a few more accompanying vegetables. The service was first class too.
The dinning room itself was nothing special. Fairly typical for an older hotel.
Not sure it was quite worth the cost as i can't honestly say it was twice as good as the balti i had the following night at 'spice pavilion', for half the cost?
