“A refreshing find”
Reviewed 11 April 2013 via mobile

We happened to be in Gorgie late afternoon and saw this bright welcoming cafe.
We certainly had a warm welcome and great quick table service from a very friendly waiter.
The coffee was amazing to start with, really fresh and strong.
The salad that I ordered of chicken &bacon was so fresh and tasty.
After I ordered a apple tea and I felt I was back on a relaxed holiday in Turkey . It's was so chilled and friendly here, the way cafes should be.
As the cafe emptied after their lunch service we had a great chat to our waiter, which is very find to find in town.
Will be back very soon.

“Brilliant friendly staff with delicious food for everyone”
Reviewed 3 February 2011

Stopped here for a quick bite and was really impressed, the only staff who also own the place were a very pleasant couple who took the time to stop and speak to you instead of like most places want your money and in and out as fast as possible. The food was reasonably priced and tastes excellent only thing I could fault was there was so much brilliant choice on the menu it took me a long time thinking about what I should have :) just to add the cup if coffee I had was also the best I have ever tasted anywhere. Real coffee ground from beans made the way it should be, I even asked the brand so I could get some myself for home.

“Continental and local cuisine in a cafe”
Reviewed 6 July 2010

Take time out in Gorgie Road to visit this unusual cafe. They serve everything you may want : Breakfasts, fish and chips, pastas, wraps, pizzas, baked poatoes, soup and lots more. My favourite is their Feta Cheese Toastie which comes with fresh mixed salad all for £1.80.
The cafe is kept spotless and is used by locals, which says it all.
Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
