“Excellent day”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

Arrived at the beginning of the tour, through the Ocean Terminal shopping mall, 2nd floor, at 10 am. Warm welcome by staff and audio tour explained. The tour is very well organised and it is truly spectacular to see how the other half live. It is quite awe inspiring to realise you are treading on the same ground as some of the greatest leaders of our time. On the other side of the coin you will be introduced to how the staff and "yotties" served on this very special vessel. The tea room on the second floor is a wonderful experience and the staff are attentive, friendly and efficient. Why cant all restaurants have such excellent service. One and a half hours was recommended for the tour but after the well stocked gift shop we checked our watches and four and a half hours had passed! Well recommended.

“Not to be missed!”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

This ship was in pristine condition. Every instrument on the bridge was intact. It looked like it could go to sea tomorrow. Same kind of condition that you would get with a historic aircraft restoration at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.

“See behind the curtains to the Queen”
Reviewed 18 July 2014 via mobile

We visited the yaht yesterday. We had the audio guide in Hun as well, vas very impressive. The captain's cabin and the Queen's bedroom and the hall for the royals were the best there. Elegant and not too much, great experience. Try the rum&raisin fudge that was sooo yummy! :)

Lovely to hear how much you enjoyed the audio tour and delicious fudge from Britannia’s NAAFI – it is all made on board by our Confectioner, Poppy, so she will be delighted to read your review. Many thanks for visiting while you were in Edinburgh.

“Great history”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

Bought ticket from Edinburgh Bus Tours and £48 paid for 2 days touring and entrance to this attraction, the castle and Holyrood House. Well set out and organised so you can see all of the yacht. Still being looked after very well and has a very interesting and remarkable history with the cleanest engine room I have ver seen. Amazing to see where the royal family stayed and all of the famous people who had been entertained on board. The cafe is well worth a visit as it is very good quality and not too expensive. Site is situated at a shopping centre so there is car parking and restaurants but is on tour route and also bus routes so easy to get to. Worth a visit.
