“green space in the heart of the city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2014

Lovely place to rest and walk. Greenery, flowers and the Ross Fountain to admire. Busy roads and shops on one side, but lovely church of Saint Cuthbert and also the church of Saint John to visit at the west end of the gardens.

“Just beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2014

We were in Edinburgh in April just as the flowers and trees were beginning to bloom. The gardens were beautiful. I have never seen so many daffodils and tulips!

To be in this place is like to be in an epic movie. Not only are the gardens marvellous but the view is breathtaking: You can see castles and epic buildings. It's really enjoyable. It's a must do!

The gardens are lovely when its a nice day, however, beware of the neds with their tracksuits and drunken behaviour!
