We booked this to celebrate our sons graduation, I discovered it on the 5pm.co.uk site and thought that their deal of £15 per person for unlimited Indian tapas sounded perfect and probably quite informal as we didn't really want a posh set menu graduation dinner which was being offered by a lot of establishments.
I couldn't fault it at all. It had a very relaxed warm atmosphere and the staff were a credit to them, very friendly and informative. We ordered dish after dish, really focusing on the fish small plates at first. The scallops weren't too good to be honest, they were so small and overcooked, however the Chilli Tandoori King Prawns were amazing, infact we had 4 plates of these as the meal progressed! The Indian Fish and Bhaji, clams and the spiced Haddock were also delicious but I was a bit disappointed that they had no mussels on that night. The chicken pakora were the best I've tasted in an Indian restaurant so again we ordered another plate! We were filling up rapidly however still managed to fit in a couple of the meat dishes of which the Lamb Sagwala was the highlight of the night. Drinks, rice and nan bread etc are extra but they were not expensive so all in all we had a really wonderful celebration meal which I thought was very good value. We will definitely return to try some more, well done Guchhi.
