The Italian food here is good. There's always a big list of "Specials" too. The boss of the establishment keeps all the staff on their toes. Only downside is the noise: wooden floors, plaster walls. much glass: the noise from all the diners bounces all over the place. It''s good food but don't come here on a first date hope to have a quiet meal with your date.

Even when I called to make the booking there was personal service given. The man asked if it was an occasion etc. When you walk in you are warmly welcomed and the decor id fresh, clean and there is a nice warm ambience. The staff are so nice and personable. They explain everything on the menu and they have the right level of balance when approaching your table. They make you feel like they are happy that you came and that they want to look after you. The food tastes fresh and you can smell all the lovely dishes going out to each table. I like that it's a family place and you can see the family photo's on the walls so you can feel their sense of pride and achievement of running this quality restaurant where everyone arrives as a customer leaves as a guest and returns as family. There is a sense of integrity and warmth here and the Chef cooked us some authentic, simple and delicious meals...I could have sat all night. We were there for a birthday (5 of us) and they made a fuss over our birthday girl which was nice and it wasn't just going out for something to eat it felt like a treat...and I eat out all the time! You are spoiled for choice with the menu too. Amongs some of the things we ordered was: Sea bass- 10 out of 10. It comes with roast potatoes and some veg. Gnocchi? So light and fluffy -I wanted to lick the plate. Chicken Arrabiata - Mildly spicy but very good sauce and very filling and the meatballs which were for the fussy one of the group and they thought they were so good. We would have ordered sweets but we had brought birthday cake...I live nearby so will definitely be returning here with my husband soon- Can't wait. Nonna is always around monitoring if everyone is ok and has what they need...and we all left on a high...It was a great wee night. Thank you!

A table for 3 at 7.00pm on a Friday - not usually a problem for many restaurants. However with this popular restaurant we got the last table - and were able to renew our acquaintance. Excellent food, service and superb choice of dishes. If you want to go to a restaurant where you are made to feel special, give it a try.
