We spent 6 nights at Pearl View guesthouse on our Scotland trip and had a great time close to Edinbrugh. Lorraine has been the perfect host. She was very helpful and had good recommendations for trips to Edinburgh and the surrounding as well as for restaurants. The hotel is located close to the beach, so we enjoyed walking along the beach and watching the sundowner. Breakfast is excellent and has a big variety of choices. For the first 4 night we had a single bedroom and a triple bedroom (double bed and additional bed, small wardrobe) which was a bit too small for 3 people spending several nights here. But Lorraine moved us to a more comfortable en-suite room as soon as possible.

Many thansk for the great time here we really enjoyed our stay at PerlView Guest house.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 days for the Fringe, Not only was the location perfect, the pricer was also well priced.

Lorraine couldnt of been more helpful, from the moment we stepped inside she was only to happy to reccommend places to go and even suggested places to eat.

If youre looking at staying in Edinburgh deffintly put this place on your map... with buses running throughout the night its not only easy but avoid some of the hustle of city life, situated close to a number of shops and right on the seafront.

Breakfast was amazing, always being asked if we wanted more, if we stay in Edinburgh we shall defintly be paying Pearl VIew and Lorraine a visit again 5*****

I have been working in Edinburgh for the last 9 months and stayed in the Pearl View over the entire period sometimes travelling from as far as Tayside & Fife to get back for the night. It is like home from home Lorraine has a beautiful B & B it is clean, always tidy and nothing is too much bother.I think i have tried every breakfast now and they well prepared, tasty and plentiful. The view from Pearl View is fabulous and you just have to cross the road and you are on the seafront. All in all I will be back in the near future and recommend anyone to try it for themselves.

Lorraine has nailed the B&B experience. Just perfect in every way. The shower is allways hot and clean. The beds are so comfy and warm. Breakfasts are plentyfull and I do love those home made jams especially the ruhbarb and ginger. And the bay window view at breakfast time is just such a nice way to start the day. But most importantly, Lorraine herself is some one you will lookforward to aquainting yourself with each time you return.

We just spent 2 nights at this b&b. We left our car rental and took bus 26 to downtown edinburgh. The bus stop is right outside the door. You get a beautiful view of the firth of fourth while you are eating a wonderful selection for breakfast. The water pressure in the shower was wonderful (the only shower of 5 other b&bs in scotland). The free wi-fi was great too.
