I visited this attraction some years ago. There are now more rooms to explore. Our guide-Lowrie I believe, playing Mary Kings daughter, was inspiring. She spoke so fluently & passionately you forgot she was "in character". She absolutely made the experience come to life. The tour lasts an hour and although a little pricey you certainly come away with a vast amount of information of life over the past 400+ years. You leave paying closer attention to the small openings along the Royal Mile up to the castle, with little brass plaques naming each close. Explore these as some offer good places to eat, shop or just stand and wonder at the architecture and what it was like to live there all those years ago.
