Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Carparking available, one bus straight into the Royal Mile, one bus straight to Ocean Terminal or Royal Yacht Britannia, Courteous polite staff, breakfast included, wifi included. Can't ask for much more. Excellent value place. Would stay here again. Am still here as I write this review. If you stay here, you must dine at the Thai Lemongrass restaurant. One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to. Only about 5 minutes down from the hotel.

Our rooms were really big - nicely furnished and very clean. The staff was very helpful and patient with all our questions. They were prompt with getting us taxis and helped us store a lot of luggage. Wenchao at the front desk was super-nice. We would stay there again without question.

We were in Edinburgh for one night for a concert at HMV Picturehouse which was about 15mins walk away. Helpful staff, swift check in and lovely room overlooking the park. The room was warm, Edinburgh was uncharacteristically warm but the room had a fan which was great. Slight problem with the shower in the morning but it was attended to swiftly. Breakfast was plentiful. I'm sorry we weren't staying longer and I would be happy to return to this hotel and stay.

situated in quiet location of Edinburgh.
upon arrival we were upgraded with out having to ask as we have a Best Western Reward card.We went up to our room and were plesently supprised by the size of the room which had a huge double (very comfertable) bed an adjoining room with a single bed with plenty of wardrobe space. We were on the second floor over looking a park area with trees and greenery.
The room was well decorated very clean through out,the bathroom was very spacious also with a double shower bath his and hers sinks.
There is also a pleasant bar/restaurant in the basement which was serving a special menu as it was saturday.Breakfast was an experiance as we were approached by no fewer than 3 members of staff asking us what we would like to order,of which there was plenty on offer.
we took a taxi from waverly station approx 10 minutes away.
we will definatley return to the Bruntsfield Hotel.

This was our wedding anniversary weekend treat and was made all the more enjoyable by the staff of this hotel. The reception and restaurant staff were always cheerful and helpful.

A well run hotel, well kept decor and the staff were very helpful and accomodating. Meals were well prepared and the restaurant had a varied menu, caring for some quirky request from us. The breakast menu was also varied and the hot food was well cooked. My only comments is that parking is limited and the parking bays are a bit small.

Room Tip: The rooms at the rear have a great view of the castle, and the front facing rooms were not than quie...
