Stayed for three nights bed and breakfast and had evening meals on two nights. We managed to get a very good deal and had a deluxe room on the first floor. Overall this is a very good well run hotel which is comfortable and clean. The staff are wonderful especially the young waiters in the Bistro. The food was EXCELLENT although the Bistro surroundings in the basement of the hotel is quite dark and basic with very little ambience. You certainly dont need to dress up! We loved Edinburgh and would stay here again.

We were pleased with this hotel. We stayed in many throughout the trip, but this one stands out as our fave. The location was awesome, the staff was exceptionally helpful, the restaurant delightful. Best breakfast, lovely supper and fantastic desserts and drinks.

Room Tip: Choose one at the rear of the hotel, the view is less appealing, but much quieter. The rooms were very warm, so that can be a plus if you like heat, but it was a minus for me.

Stayed for dinner ,bed & breakfast, all of which were very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only down sides were - limited selection of tea and coffee in bedroom and small carpark. Overall though, a good experience and I would use it again.

I was privileged to be invited to a wedding reception at this gorgeous hotel. When we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful and this contiuned throughout the day/night.

The 3 course meal was delicious, and I'm a fussy eater! We had a choice of food pre-ordered by the Bride and Groom, however, staff ensured that an alternative was offered incase anyone was vegetarian.

The decor was lovely and the tables were done beautifully. After the meal, staff ensured a swift clean up in order for the night entertainment to begin.

A fantastic day and night was had by all. The bar was reasonably priced too, an added bonus!! ;-)

Spent two nights here in February for a weekend. Lovely hotel in a nice location. Rooms were very nice and staff were friendly and made you feel really at home.
The only issue I have with the hotel is it's small car park.
Got a great deal through late rooms.
