We’ve stayed in several hotels around Edinburgh and this is by far our favorite. The highlights: lovely personable staff, gorgeous & spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, cozy atmosphere, and the perfect Stockbridge location. The staff went over and above accommodating our requests, even leaving a jar of almond milk in our mini fridge. Highly recommend!

We stayed on a Sunday night after hosting a lunch for friends, and 20 of us arrived back at the hotel. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, and special mention should go to Gita on Reception who was so helpful and friendly. The sharing plates for supper were very good, and the general vibe in the hotel is modern and very friendly. We stayed in a deluxe room which was one of the best appointed that we have experienced in the UK. There were some lovely touches - the Nespresso machine, iPod and docking station, robes and slippers but the biggest treat for me was the wonderful roll top bath. The bed was very comfortable too. Breakfast can be taken up to 11.45 - loved the selection and the quality. This really was a first-rate stay and very good value for money. We shall definitely be back.

We loved this hotel, the staff were all very friendly and super efficient.
Our stay was for 3 nights in a deluxe room at the side of the hotel which was surprisingly quiet. The room was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, and included a walk-in wardrobe which had everything except Narnia.
The bathroom is a very good size including a roll top bath large shower and two sinks.
The breakfast menu has everything you could want and was flawlessly cooked.
The position is great there are lots of Cafes and restaurants close by,although the bar and restaurant at the hotel are also worth a try.
It a 20 minute
When we go back to Edinburgh we would definitely want to stay at the Raeburn again.
Thank you to all the staff you were amazing!

Recently stayed at The Raeburn for 3 nights. The staff were so welcoming and despite a busy bar on arrival, they were able to find us a space my husband and I could watch the rugby! They also kindly gave us complimentary prosecco as we were celebrating our recent wedding.
The hotel had recently undergone a renovation, and the decor in the bar and restaurant was lovely!
The room had so many nice touches, not only a hairdryer but also GHD straighteners!
Perfect distance from the city centre if you don’t want to stay too central.
We can’t wait to return!

Booked The Raeburn on the back of other good tripadvisor reviews and now very glad we did. Helpful, attentive (without being in your face) staff, bar was busy both nights we were there (Thursday and Friday) whilst maintaining a relaxed feel (dogs and kids/babies welcome). Our room was a standard room but very well equipped and plenty of space. Comfy bed, good shower, etc. and no noticeable noise from a busy bar. We ate there one night and I had the Buffalo wings to start which were hot and spicy and excellent. The rest of the food good too.
The Reaburn is just over a mile from the centre of Edinburgh (all uphill if you are walking) and has plenty of places to eat and drink close by in what appears quite a cosmopolitan area. If you like rugby and get the right room (we did but no games) then you can sit and watch Edinburgh Academicals whose pitch is next door.
Overall a most enjoyable couple of nights at the hotel and we are likely to use it again if we decide to do Edinburgh again
