I can only echo the previous tripadvisor reviews, good location, off road parking, great breakfast and most of all lovely people. the credit card sized info card that they have produced is an excellent idea which we used for Edinburgh's super bus routes. (the easy way to get around) and for local eating places.
When we visit Edinburgh again I would look no further for a place to stay and would recomend it to everybody

What a fantastic Guest House!
The owners were welcoming, friendly and gave us lots of information re. buses, eating places etc.
Our room was lovely. Everything was fresh and clean. Our bed was wonderfully comfy and we slept like two logs!
Breakfast was ordered the evening before and I liked this. Saves on food waste when you order exactly what you want. And I can't fault breakfast either. It was served in a pretty dining room. There was a good selection of cereal, fruit juice and fresh fruit. And our freshly cooked breakfast was delicious.
I found the location ideal - a good brisk walk to the Royal Mile or a short bus ride! Being a little bit out of the city centre meant the area was quiet and peaceful. The guest house also has private parking or residents on street parking which is a great bonus in Edinburgh.
We are now planning a return visit with our daughter!

The B&B was lovely! The owners are very warm and welcoming and obviously love what they do. It's a little way out of the centre, but walkable if you want to stretch your legs, otherwise it is right on the route of several bus lines which come past regularly. Bedroom was very pretty and super comfy beds!

Our room was very nice, clean, and spacious. Gary and Lizzie were both very nice and most helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the location of Kingsway was close to bus routes & several good restaurants. Highly recommend.

A really nice building located 25-30 minutes walk from the Royal mile , well served by a regular buses if you do not want to walk , the local are seemed to have more than enough pubs , and places to eat without the need to travel in the centre. The host were warm and welcoming, pre visit they kept me informed of trips and things to do , the room itself was a little small , but more than adequate it had period features including shutters which made it warm and cosy ,as well as keeping it dark for a good nights sleep , the bed was oh so cosy and to be honest one of the best i have slept in.The breakfast was very good, and tasty with a selection of specials each day. Couldn't really fault the kingsway , and would be happy to recommend the place , and would be very happy to stay here again.

Room Tip: could only suggest when booking if you need more space then upgrade if possible to a superior room
