We spent 3 night in this hotel and everything went just fine. Good room, excellent location and a quit night's sleep. Found it on laterooms and paid £250 for the three nights (booking 6 weeks in advance). Wouldn't pay more than that but hey, it's Edinburgh, so busy time before Christmas.
Staff at the hotel were nice and helpful.
Breakfast across the road was good although the staff there were a bit unfriendly.

Room Tip: Room 210 at the back was very quiet at night. It had double bed and an extra bed in a separate room...

Just got back aftre staying 2 nights at this hotel, could not fault it, staff very friendly and helpfull nothing was to much trouble. It does not have car parking, a bar or a resturant but hey there is plenty around and not to far away. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was my second trip to Edinburgh and my friends first. Last time I stayed on the wrong side of the hill for shopping, this time I decided to find a hotel closer to Princess street. This hotel is perfectly located for shopping and the airport bus stops close by on George street.

The rooms were clean and cozy, shower had good pressure, tv with lots of channels to pick from after a long day walking, little fridge, and most important free wifi! Only thing off was that the lighting was a bit dim, but that was fine.

We were in room 109 and it was very quite my friend said she heard the morning trash pickup but I slept right through it.

Now to the staff which was wonderful, always a smile and willing to help. The 24 hour desk was lucky, considering we came in rather late. There's also free luggage storage.

Breakfast at the cafe across the street was also wonderful and a nice way to start the day.

All in all this was way more then what we expected for the price.

This hotel is in a superb location in the centre of Edinburgh. Central to shops, restaurants, bars and Princess Street. The room we had was very clean and very quiet. It is a basic hotel in that there is no bar and breakfast is taken in the café rouge opposite (which was very good). This hotel is excellent value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Room Tip: We had room 104. A double and a single bed. Very quiet at the back of the hotel on the first floor...

Breakfast is served in cafe rouge opposite and it was lovely just enough for my husband and myself. The staff were very friendly and the manager couldn't have been more helpful with regard to parking and other information regarding the city. The staff are happy and cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely come back and recommend. The rooms are lovely and spacious and well decorated.

Be aware if this hotel, the manager is very rude shouting at you and charging your card illegally, basic and not worth the money, need to ear. Some basic skills in customer service before interacting with guests

Room Tip: Don't bother
