I stayed there for 3 night (room n. 409 - 2° fl.). Is not easy to find a cheap hotel in Edinburgh, and this solution was far better my expectation. The building it self is ancient and fascinating, my room was clean and cozy, though simple and non so big. We had a confortable bed, 2 lovely little windows, a simple but clean bathroom and everithing you need (tv, Tea-cofee machine, etc.).Best of all: GREAT LOCATION! In the very centre of old town, few minute walking from castle and "princess street" (new town). If you don't like walking there are a lot of busses near the hotel. (also "airoport link" is only few minute walking).
We reserved breakfast only two time, it was quite ordinary, nothing special, (full continental or hot breakfast costs about 7 pound, if you prefer there are a lot of cafè just outside the hotel).
