Nice guesthouse, in a calm neighbourhood but with easy access to downtown Edinburgh. The owner was a bit disorganised and chaos was everywhere, but hey, so is our own house too sometimes :) It just makes you feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, only we had asked for a room with a double bed and a single bed, and were given a room with three separate single beds. Not a big issue, but as we asked about it at the end our stay, the response was merely, "Oh my, I must've given you the wrong room keys by accident...". Owner was very helpful and chatty. Breakfast was plenty. Be prepared to climb to sets of steep stairs with your luggage. You can park your car in the street for free, but there isn't always a free space.
