“Convenient for airport”

A standard, but newly opened premier inn, just 5minutes from the airport. On a small industrial estate so the only option to eat is the attached restaurant unless you want to drive out. I arrived late so didn't have dinner, but the continental breakfast was OK. A good option for a late arrival or an early flight.

Booked this hotel at the last minute when my wife and daughter went up to the Edinburgh Moonwalk, i stayed they walked. A realitvely new hotel that is very well situated and so easily accessible.
Clean, good security with swipe cards in all doors, new food menu and reasonable prices, theres also a Mcdonald across the road if that suits the kids better, very comfortable we booked a family room and the kids beds were really mattresses and not simply cheap fold down beds.

Cant say much more but we will go back

Our stay at the Premier Inn, Edinburgh Airport was great from the hotel room perspective. The Premier Inn standard was well maintained here. Hotel is modern, room spacious and clean. Excellent value. Wifi costs you though.

However we would not recommend the restaurant. We had average service from the restaurant staff, a large majority of the menu was not available and we had to "re-order" a couple of times. Food was very average, chips were soggy, and it felt as if the food was microwave left-overs. Not sure about breakfast but I would look at grabbing dinner somewhere else nearby. We required a taxi to the airport which reception will book for you, which they advised is £7 however they charged us £9.50. Location of the hotel may be hard to find if using GPS or taxi, as it appears to be a new area, however directions included on booking form are quite good.

PROs
Location (for Airport), Value, Free Parking, Modern, Cleanliness

CONs
Poor Restaurant, Paid Wifi

This is a great place to stay when in Edinburgh. It is only a five minute cab ride from the airport. The hotel is brand new and everything is clean and comfortable. The staff is more than helpful and friendly.

Our room was great. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. There was a great variety of food available.

A less than five minute walk away is a bus stop to take you directly into Edinburgh. Ask the bus driver to take you to the Waverly Mall stop which is a 1.80 GBP trip, one-way. From here you can walk around and see everything including the Majestic Mile, Edinburgh Castle and get on the hop-on-hop-off bus.

This hotel was a great value. All of the hotels that we researched in the city were extremely expensive. A stay at the Premiere Inn Newbridge was affordable and the bus ride into the city allowed you to see some of the country side. The ride was only about 20 minutes and the price to pay on the bus was worth it compared to what is was going to cost to stay in the city.

We would definitely stay here again.

This Premier Inn has just opened (so new - there were no signs for it!), and everything is brand new. We only paid £29 for a room and we had a great stay - and a great night sleep before our early morning flight.

The staff working at the Premier Inn were some of the best staff I have come across and had excellent customer service - keep it up guys!

We will definetly return here the next time we fly from Edinburgh Airport.

We stayed at the Premier Inn the night before our very early flight from Edinburgh and were extremely impressed with the quality of the hotel. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful, rooms were large and comfortable and the restaurant food was of high quality. We were pleased to see there was on-site free car-parking and the 10 minute trip to the airport in the morning was hassle-free. All for £29/room. Will definitely use this hotel again.

This is a brand new Premier Inn, so new that it only opened the day before our visit!
Previous Premier Inns we have stayed at have been next to a Beefeater or Brewer's Fare pub/restaurant, but this new one has everything on-site. Check-in is by the familiar but clunky touch-screen machine which also dispenses your room card, also needed to access the lifts and 3-storey bedrooms section. Our air-conditioned room seemed slightly smaller than others we have used, but had the corporate double bed and settee, with desk and chair and an open-shelf unit containing hanging rail, hairdrier, and flatscreen Freeview TV. For a twin room the settee is made up as a single bed. The bathroom was also up to corporate standard, only missing a grab rail for the over-bath shower. As you would expect with a brand new building, everything was in pristine condition.
We did not use the restaurant for a main meal but did take breakfast, which was a full hot and cold self-service buffet and was excellent. Although understandably a little nervous, the staff were all pleasant and seemed eager to please.
If there is a drawback to this Premier Inn it is its location. Look on Goole Maps and you will see it is right on the end of the airport runway, separated only by the busy M8 motorway. Having said that, the soundproofing of the building is first class, and we were not disturbed by noise from either aircraft or road traffic. But at present the hotel is in the middle of a building site with its nearest neihbours being a couple of car showrooms. Work is progressing apace to complete the new business park surrounding it, but at present it looks like something in the middle of nowhere, especially at night!
We paid £29 for our room on an advance booking basis, which we feel represents excellent value.

Room Tip: Book early!
