I don't know really what to say about this place. We finally managed to see the Panda after running about a mile up hill in order to do so, if not for this I think the score would have been even lower. There was nothing out apart from the lion and a few other animals which I understand the zoo can't force the animals to be on display, but it is annoying to walk up giant hills only to find things empty! Those we did see didn't appear to have any enrichment activities. The aviary in particular was a let down as I love birds and it is tiny with perhaps ten birds in there. We turned up to two talks and both didn't take place -why?? The food in the restaurant was so overpriced, £3.95 for a child portion of chips. Please don't even attempt going if you have any kind of mobility issues, the hills are gruelling for even the fittest of people!
Don't think I would go back if I were in the area again.
