We stayed for one night and really enjoyed our time. The location is about a 15 minute walk to the Old Town area of Edinburgh and Waverley Station. Our street level room was quite loud with traffic going by and footsteps above from the lobby/restaurant area. Room rate seemed high in comparison to another place we stayed in the city. With that, the room was fun with a bright (indigo) color scheme, sitting area, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Mini bar included free snacks & non-alcoholic beverages. Staff was very friendly and helpful with finding our way around. We did not dine at the hotel, but it looked to have a nice restaurant & bar. Room rates seemed to fluctuate greatly pending availability as we were quoted pricing for the following weekend at about a 30% discount over our night's stay. If I could give this a 3.5 I would due to the perceived value for what we paid.
