“Excellent cafe”
Reviewed 17 November 2013 via mobile

Whenever I feel like having a nice casual meal I think of Papii first. The smoothies are good and the meatball and chicken curry sandwiches delicious. The space is quite small, sits 12/14, but I have never had a problem finding a seating space. The staff are friendly. As a downside, not really suited as a Starbucks type of place if you wish to work there while having a bite and there is no scenic view. All in all, I thoroughly recommend it.

“Sweet Cafe”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

Quite a cool place!

Edinburgh is too chilly for me but the staff are hot, the soup is spicy and their coffee craft is second to none.

I'll get the waffles next time! Promise.

“Brilliant lunch-break place with delicious food”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

if you seek a bit of mental and physical rest during a lunch-break of a busy day it it a place to go. You will recover physically having beautiful pasta bake (I know - sounds simply but always made of fresh ingredients) and tasty coffee in a little but cosy and comfy dining area. You will rest mentally as even in the busiest time it always seems nice and friendly over there.
A place where I come back more and more often. And I know it is hard to believe I am still not bored with their pasta bake and coffee for £6.70 :)

“Love it!”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

I visit Papii regularly and cannot recommend it highly enough! All the staff are brilliant and it is always nice to be greeted with a friendly smile. What makes it better is that the owners, Lia and Ricky, make a conscious effort to ensure that you are enjoying your meal or what is arguably the best coffee in Edinburgh.

“Friendly little cafe”
Reviewed 12 October 2013

Visited Papii for a quick lunch before a comedy show at the nearby Stand. Tasty spanakopita, generous portions of food, nice atmosphere and friendly service. Also the coffees are great! Didn't think the prices were amazing value, just about average for a cafe thought the big portions helped to make it good value. Would recommend.
