Saturday evening visit, after recommendation from a friend and very positive reviews in Tripadvisor, left us very full, satisfied and keen to come back. The restaurant is lovely inside, the staff well presented, attentive and welcoming. The wine list is well balanced and the food menu extensive but not just with the usual staples. The portion sizes are very generous, so much so, we didn't manage to finish our mains and opted to take them home. The flavours are deep and delicious with no sense of MSG for enhancing. Plenty of fresh ingredients and in my main of Tzechiu beef in black bean and garlic sauce (served on a sizzling platter), the flavour was just amazing. One thing to note is in the starter, salt & chilli crispy shredded duck, there was a LOT of minced garlic. Beautiful flavours and generous portion, but if you are not keen on garlic, either avoid this or ask for less garlic. It is beautifully cooked and flavoursome however. The Szechuan pork dish was again, served on a sizzling platter and rich in flavour. All in all, a delicious first visit and we are booked in for another visit soon. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant and it is family friendly. Advise advance booking as it is clearly very popular for sit in and takeaway.
