Great finale to our tour of Scotland. Our apartment was directly in the middle of the Royal Mile with incredible views up and down the street. We had two huge windows and enjoyed watching the constant activity and entertainment. We could not have been more centrally located for all the Royal Mile has to offer. The staff provided a friendly welcome and we were surprised to find the apartment outfitted with coffee, tea, cream, sugar, cleansers, paper towels, etc. We did not have to purchase any extras to make our stay comfortable. This is a historic building with a winding spiral staircase. We had to climb 57 rather steep steps to get to our apartment and there is no elevator service, but we enjoyed the exercise (except with our luggage). We felt safe and enjoyed the historic feel of the building. I would absolutely recommend these apartments!

A very warm and friendly welcome at check in, we were shown personally to our apartment which happens to be a five minute walk from the office. We were on the third floor which was a bit of a climb up a winding stair, there is no lift access but this did not matter, as the apartment was fantastic! We found that we had been upgraded to a four bedroomed, three bathroomed apartment with a spacious lounge and a well equipped kitchen and fresh milk in the fridge! Wifi was easy to connect to and the tv was easy to use. It was clean, tidy and very spacious. Of course the odd skirting board was a bit tired, but what do you expect from a beautiful old building like that!

We were a stones throw from pubs, restaurants, shops, the castle and much more! We did the late night ghost tour which was great value for money.

On check out we were able to leave our luggage in the office so we could continue to see the sights without bags in tow!

Would definitely recommend and I will be going again! Not recommended for the less abled due to the winding staircase.

Room Tip: If you are less abled request a ground floor apartment.

Came to Edinburgh on business for two days. I often do this and would normally stay in hotel accommodation in the vicinity of the Royal Mile or North/South Bridge. However, all the hotels were extremely expensive - even the Ibis was £130 per night! So scouting around a bit more I discovered these serviced apartments and very pleased I was with it too. It was like a home from home, nicely furnished and being so high up the views looking out across Princes St and beyond were amazing.

On arrival I was greeted by a very friendly individual, who showed me to the apartment, and around, even explaining some little tricks to get things to work. A nice touch.

The only potential downside to this apartment is that it is located on the 5th floor and the stairwell is a narrow spiral staircase with close to 100 (I counted) uneven steps (both horizontally and vertically). This could pose problems to people with fitness or mobility problems. Otherwise I'd thoroughly recommend a stay. I'll be using it again next time.

Room Tip: This review relates to Apartment 10.

The flat was a perfect location, tastefully decorated, fabulous service, it couldn't get better. We stayed 4 nights/5days and were pleasantly accommodated close to almost everything we wanted to do while in Edinburgh, I don't hesitate in suggesting future adventurers stay here! A perk was the exercise we were able to get after all the decadent food we consumed on our stay. Starbucks is across the street, food a few doors down, and attractions all over your front door. Parking was horrible but we found a car park a couple of blocks away. Our flat was at the top, 5th floor, and we really appreciated the climb everyday for the exercise. I can't say enough great things except take yourself there and stay on the top floor. . . It is worth it!

Room Tip: If you can't walk up flights of stairs, choose something else. I appreciated the opportunity to work of the bad eating choices I made while visiting.

Stayed for three nights in the top floor apartment. The apartment was amazing and had a beautiful view over the city - not to mention being slap bang in the middle of the Royal Mile. There were a lot of stairs up to the apartment - it's a fairly steep spiral staircase with uneven steps up to the fifth floor, but that's what you have to expect in the Old Town! Overall, couldn't fault it at all.
