Just back from my second stay this year and once again singing the praises of this delightful little hotel. It was so nice to see the staff were the still the same ,it's always good to see a familar face and a sign of good management. They even sent on my hair straighteners which I had left behind without postage charge.

Room Tip: ask for a higher room at the back if you want a good view

Spent two nights here in the summer. Good location - quiet and an easy walk to Princes Street. The building itself is beautiful. We had a view of Edinburgh Castle from our room and could see the fireworks from the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. There's a gorgeous library where you can enjoy hot drinks and biscuits any time. Only problem we had was that our sink wasn't draining properly. One of the guys from the front desk came to check it out, but couldn't quite fix it. Since we were only there for two nights we didn't make a big deal of it. Hopefully they got it fixed after we checked out. Great breakfast included. We never had to wait for a table, but some people did. The elevator is tiny and quite slow, but that's expected for such an old building. I would definitely stay there again.

Hi Guest and thank you very much for taking time to review.

How lovely to watch the fireworks form your room! That is one of the great things about our city - everywhere is within easy reach and so easy to travel around.

Thank you, once again - we would love to welcome you back or please consider our sisters in London and Weymouth for your travels in the UK.

All the Best

The location is perfect for getting around the city center. Everyone is helpful and friendly. An ideal group of people to make anyone feel welcome & at home. The managers gave numrous ideas on places to see and devine places to eat. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. All the little touches from a mint on the pillow to the sumptuous library make this stay in Edinburgh unforgettable. This was my first time in Edinburgh & it could not have been any better. This B&B is one of the reasons I will be coming back to Edinburgh. My first choice in accommodations.

Really enjoyed my recent stay at the B and B in Edinburgh. The duty manager Paul made us feel welcome and managed to track down my mobile phone that I had left in a taxi. He sorted out flight check in and did everything to make our stay comfortable and a good experience. Will definitely return - a fab place to stay.

Good location, walking distance of everything.Stayed for a night, while in Edinburgh on business. Lovely hotel, with beautiful character features due to its listed building status. Room was clean and comfy, with a nice view of countryside beyond. Bathroom was great with very powerful hot shower. Had booked for breakfast but didn't have time to enjoy due to early morning flight home. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Thank you so much for reviewing.

B+B Edinburgh is ideally located for business in the city and is a great place to re-coup after a busy day. The West End Village boasts a great selection of independent eateries as well as the high street options. these are all within 5 minutes of our front door.

See you again soon and thank you, once again.

We had booked a regular room for two people but as we were arriving on a Sunday they had extra rooms and upgraded us to a family suite which was fantastic and had some really amazing views. The location was very convenient and a lovely area to be in.

I also rated the breakfast quite highly - a pretty simple big breakfast if that's what you're into, and the option to include haggis was a nice touch for tourists like myself.

Not cheap but still good value in my opinion.

Room Tip: The family suite we had was large, stylish and had a brilliant view over the nearby area through hug...

We stayed for one night, the hotel is a lovely old building and has a very traditional feel, our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. All the staff we met were friendly and cheery which gave it a welcoming feel. The breakfast was also very good As they cook it fresh for you, there was also plenty of cereals to choose from, and they were happy to get plenty more toast and coffee for us.
Overall a very enjoyable stay would definitely use the hotel again

Thank you very much for reviewing - it is great to hear from a fellow Scot!

Our beds are super comfy and we have tried to appeal to all travellors with our breakfast selection. There are regional sausages, black puddings and local cereals and all cooked to order.

If you are ever in London or the South Coast, look up our sister B+B's - a warm welcome always awaits!

Thanks again.
