Visited one Friday lunchtime as it is near to my work and fancied a change. Was quite busy with students and young Mums, not surprising really as it is bang next door to the Napier Sighthill campus and also a health clinic. It wasn't as busy as I expected but perhaps it was a bit early in the day. No trouble getting a table and they were all quite clean. You find a table, note the number and order at the bar. No cash with me, but there was no problem about opening a tab with my debit card.
The food is incredibly cheap, I expect mostly microwaved as my curry arrived less than ten minutes after ordering! But the food was ok and met my expectations. Cost was less than a tenner for curry, rice, naan bread and a couple of poppadums plus a soft drink. Tables were clean and the service was good. Staff seemed genuine when they checked that everything was ok, cleared the table promptly, brought my bill when asked and explained various special offers.
Visited the toilets which were basic standard but really clean and smelt fresh - made a nice change as they are normally dreadful in cheap menu pubs.
Conveniently located off a duel carriageway with plenty of parking and right next to a BP petrol station. All in all a good experience
