Stayed at this hotel during a visit to Edinburgh zoo and it was such a good choice. Stayed in Premier Inns before and they are always great value but this was exceptional. Greated by very welcoming staff who could not have been more helpful and made such a lot of my two year old son. The staff in the restaurant were also very welcoming and could not have been more friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to find. Had a great nights sleep as very quiet. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that werent as good as this - yes you know what standard you are getting from a premier inn but how we were treated by staff and the cleanliness of the hotel was second to none.

Nice new hotel .. great for those whom want to visit Edinburgh .. but at the same time not be confined to the hustle bustle of the town centre ...

My only beef was the noisy air conditioning unit .. also the fact that in the morning it seemed to come on by itself and i awoke to a freezing room ...

Noise fromm the room next door was annoying ... thus be aware that walls are thin and you risk your sleep being broken.

I think management should address these things now as with age the things i have highlighted will get worse ...

To conclude if your room has an adjoing door to the next room ... expect noise pollution

Room Tip: Refuse a room if it has an adjoining door

We stopped here 31st august 2012 for 2 nights on a business trip. The hotel is new, very clean and was ideally located for us near to a station. On arriving we were met by a very pleasant memeber of staff and booked in very quickly..The room was clean , fresh and the bed was very comfortable...it had air con which was great because you couldnt open the windows!...lovely powerful shower, nice deep bath and the wifi was cheap compared to a Travel lodge ( £3.00 for 24 hours) ...We had breakfast both mornings and were impressed, good choice of hot and cold foods buffet style with both...staff everywhere were very helpful and friendly...Also it was very quiet not a noisy location at all, we had a wonderful nights sleep in a very lovely bed!!

Stayed overnight en route from Stansted back to the Highlands. Convenient for airport. Despite late arrival, reception staff friendly and helpful. Being six months old accommodation is in good order and breakfast was very good with excellent staff. Close to Edinburgh Park railway station which was ideal for meeting business colleague the following morning. Reasonably priced and free car parking was an added bonus. Only minor niggle is that Tramway roadworks are currently nearby which is having an adverse effect on traffic flows at times. Have stayed in five other Premier Inns in Edinburgh but this will be my first choice for future stays.

Had never stayed at a Premier Inn before - was pleasantly surprised and would certainly stay again. Nice clean quiet room and a good value breakfast at £5.25 if you did not go for the cooked option which I never have anyway. Only problem was the slightly complicated route needed to get there once you leave the main road. Good easy rail access to the City and a quick drive to the airport.
