Stayed one night as a family of four before an early morning flight. Although we had booked a family room (which was a bit sneaky as we have a 6'2" 16 year old son and a 14 year old son), there was a double bed, a single bed and a comfortable camp type bed in a reasonable sized room so we all slept well. We caught a train into Edinburgh and after being given directions by Premier Inn staff, we went to the cinema/restaurant complex 10 minutes walk away from Haymarket, to spend the evening, then caught the train back. We left our car at the hotel for the week and caught taxis - £10/£11 to/from the airport. We would certainly stay at the hotel again if heading off from the airport, or even as an alternative to staying in the city centre as the train only took 10 minutes.
