Situated next to a train station just across the road but not familiar with the train service. We opt to use the bus service from Lothian. Easily accessible by Lothian bus 35 from airport. (need a bit of walking unless you change to bus 2 that stop right at the hotel. Worth to buy a day ticket with Lothian bus at £1.50 that enable you to use any Lothian bus for the day.

To go to the city it takes about 30min. First take the bus 2 from the opposite road of the hotel in front of the train station. Transit to bus 22 at Broomhouse or Stenhouse that stop along the Princess street. Don't forget to get a Lothian bus map at airport. Very helpful.

Check-in was easy with check-in kiosk. Just required your booking number to get your access card. Hotel staff is helpful to store the luggage for us while waiting to check-in. Room quality is like a 4-star hotel. Hair dryer, TV, air cond, towel and other accessories are equipped. Only thing to comment is their pillows seem a bit too soft and low for us despite provided 2 types of compound. Soft and medium. We still find the medium too soft.

You can find a TESCO hypermarket across the train station. Hotel location is a little bit remote if walking but accessible by bus.

Room Tip: Maybe facing the train station is not a good idea

First experience of a Premier Inn. Firstly it is situated next to the train station so u are a 20 sec walk to the train followed by a 5 min train ride to the ctr of Edinburgh. Staff really helpful and will try and help you with all questions asked. We needed a bank and was told which one and where it was and even on the route we were taking which was the zoo. They also gave us advice about the zoo and other things we can go and do with the kids. If I came back to Edinburgh I'd definitely check in to this Premier Inn again. Clean, tidy, friendly, priced right and a must for a few days to Rest you weary head. My hat gets taken off to the staff who can't do enough for you. Thanks for making me and my families stay a relaxed one.

We stayed here 2 mights on route from Skye , struggled finding the road in even though we could see the hotel as the sat nav took me to a barrier as the hotel is on a business park and jobs worth security made me drive round hmmm ! Anyway the hotel is about 18 months old and a great location for commuting to the local attractions either get the bus or take a 30 second walk for a train, it's a self check in and if u need them the ladies on reception are angels, room was spot on and clean the attached restaurant Thyme is very good but at certain times very very busy ,we had breakfast in the adjoining Costa also very good . Next time we visit Edinburgh we will stay here 100%!

This was our first experience of a Premier Inn. We had a little difficulty in reaching the car park, but that was mainly due to the navigation system. On arrival at reception we were greeted by a slightly ditsy person who initially had difficulty in finding our booking, then said we were booked in for 2 nights, we corrected her and when she looked at the screen agreed it was only the 1 night, she then asked if we would like to book breakfast. We told her that was included in the price and when she again looked at the screen she agreed that was so.
Enough of the negative, the room was well presented, clean and a very comfortable bed, nice shower and bath with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of breakfast foods available all fresh and very tasty. The waiter who attended us could not have been more friendly or helpful.
We did not use the train to travel in to town, instead we drove to the nearby park and ride and used the bus which was regular both in to Edinburgh and out again.
Although I have only given this an average review, I felt it was half way between average and very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely use it again when flying in to and out of Edinburgh.

This hotel is right on the train route and the station is a few steps away—after haymarket this is the 2nd stop on west bound trains from Waverley—one should check the board to see if the train is calling at this station Edinburgh park as express trains may not stop. We loved the open area where it is located and the convenience of the commute in 10 minutes to Waverley station. At £ 44/night, it was a steal for our stay from May 2-4 and we loved the cleanliness and comfort offered by the Premier chain

Preimer Inn Edinburgh Park is a basic quality chain hotel located right outside Edinburgh Park station. It is perfectly fine for what it aims to achieve, a simple and uncluttered spot to sleep for a night. It is something of a no-frills hotel so pricing should reflect that.

Check-in and out has been partly automated at Premier Inn but there is still one person on a very small desk for those of us who prefer manual. The two versions of that person this reviewer encountered were both friendly and personable. It was welcome to have the person on desk recognise my name as the one with the late arriving luggage the hotel had recently received.

There were no real complications at the hotel, the room space was perfectly fine, the quality of the bed was reasonable, the freesat television worked, the shower was decent. A constant almost inaudible humming sound was a bit annoying as was the 0430 wake-up from the heavy vehicles trundling by and occasionally reversing.

The breakfast was perfectly fine. Nothing special, nothing too bad. Some fellow customers did complain about their sausages and sent them back. Ordering one of the less usual extras was no hassle at all. The member of staff on duty over breakfast was very friendly even when handling complaints.

The location is a mixed blessing. Edinburgh Park is a bit of a wasteland. It is full of massive corporate offices and not a place to enjoy. On the other hand it is only a few minutes into Edinburgh's main station by train so works out well.

For a basic quality accommodation, Edinburgh Park Premier Inn is perfectly fine. It has nothg special about it and the location is a bit odd but if a good deal can be found it seems reasonable.

I book with Premier Inn on a regular basis, and I have to say that this hotel is certainly one of their best. I think this hotel is quite new, and looks and feels it. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service from the hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Ideally situated right across the road from Edinburgh Park train station. Excellent onsite car parking facilities too. Would definitely recommend.
