We had been living there for two nights. First night of the travel, and night before we come back. It is because the hotel is very close to train station, which makes trip to Edinburgh city quite easy. It's also really close to airport, about 7 minutes by car. It's very professional, reasonable price, so you never need to worry about your accomodation if you live there.

I chose this hotel simply for the ease of parking away from the city. There were loads of spaces over weekend, so no problem with leaving the car to travel to city by train. Although the train station is about 15 seconds walk away had no train noise at all.
Only thing is hotel location in a bit of a concrete jungle which takes away so of the ambience of Edinburgh.
Staff friendly and breakfast was filling,.

We stayed at this hotel for a two night break in May and were delighted with the quality and cleanliness provided. Quite a new building so it still looks fresh and well maintained. Staff were helpful and check inn was automated via an electronic computerised system which was very simple to use. Managed to book the rooms in advance at the saver rate of £29 per night which was a real bargain. All in all a good break and I would happily stay here again.

Spent four nights here end of May. Difficult to reach as signage for the hotel its self is non existent so you must follow route to Edinburgh Park Station to the letter !!! Fantastic position for public transport into Edinburgh and further afield .The usual Premier Inn standard of hotel service and rooms. However, we asked to change rooms from the second night as being on the top floor, 4, we were under what was the air conditioning unit for the whole of the hotel, so there was a continuous low hum throughout the night !! may be best to avoid room 410 and rooms on that floor, in that wing. Hotel was aware of the problem, we were moved with no problem, left our clothes and cases, went out and returned to a new room, clothes and cases as well .All in all , a good stay. Would return, would recommend

Room Tip: avoid room 410 and rooms around this wing of the hotel

Have just returned from a 3 night stay with my 14 and 11 year old children. We were all very impressed with the friendly and attentive staff, clean and perfectly adequate sized bedroom, tasty breakfasts and overall experience of staying at this Premier Inn Hotel. Although we did not pay the cheapest rates that you can obtain with Premier Inn we still felt the hotel represented excellent value. The location next to the railway station provided a cheap link into the city at £3 return for all of us and a ten minute journey. No issues with any noise. Edinburgh was a wonderful city to visit for the first time and the hotel added to this experience. We all vowed to return to Edinburgh and this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights on the 17th and 18th of may. Although the weather wasn't too great ,our stay at the hotel had been great. The staff were lovely and really friendly. Our original plan was just to stay for a night but my husband decided that he wanted to go to Edinburgh a day earlier so we booked for another night. Even though we had 2 different room rates booked, Kerry the receptionist made sure that we stay at the same room to save us from re packing our cases and re checking in again. Having 3 small kids with us that made a huge difference. Meeting Richie at the car park on our arrival was great as well. He had given us an extended welcome. He made us feel really welcome and made us feel that we had received a red carpet treatment. The hotel is indeed very lucky to have staffs like them. It made people wants to come back and stay at the same hotel.the hotel room was very clean and the bathroom was great. It was spotlessly clean. I don't have to worry that my children will be touching dirty surfaces because everything was just spotless. There was a cleansing foam attached to the wall beside the sink and plenty of shower cream beside the shower and loads of towel too.The hair dryer for me and my daughter was great too - better than the travel dryer that I always bring on holidays. I always bring one on holidays because not every hotel provides hair dryer. One highlight of the room was the kettle. I don't have to use my travel kettle because their kettle still looks new and clean. We had an awful experience in the past in a different hotel, we couldn't make some coffee because the bottom of the kettle looks rustic and dirty. Because we always take the children with us ,I always carry a travel kettle since then especially now that the youngest of them is still on a bottle. The only concern on our part was the wifi access. You need to pay 3 pounds for 24 hours which is not much really but I suppose if you have 3 iPads and you are staying for 2 nights - you could have paid for half a months Internet access at home already because I'm not sure if the 3 pounds a night would cover for the entire room because when when my husband was using the access code to the other I pads it wouldn't work. But we didn't ask to clarify because my children needed the wifi access to play anyway. The flat screen telly was fine as well. It was in the right height and angle for anyone to watch while lying on the bed. Another highlight was the air conditioning. You can regulate the temperature to your liking. I would definitely come back to this hotel and would recommend it to friends because even though it was more than a year old it still looks new and very clean with lovely staff- what more could you ask for on a holiday.
