Hotel was clean, staff helpful but outside noise overnight was unbearable - would not recommend to stay, particularly at the weekend. Room was very warm so ventilation was required hence the noise from outside.

We are very sorry to learn that you were unhappy with your stay Burnsiboy. Unfortunately, due to the hotel’s central location, it is not always possible to fully reduce the noise that our guests might experience in their room. However, we make every effort to minimise the noise that might be heard from outside the hotel by having insulated walls and double glazed windows. We will be sure to pass your comments onto the Hotel Manager in order to address the issues you have raised.

Very conveniently situated, not too far from city centre and not too close, reasonably priced. Comfortable bed, everything clean and working. Staff efficient and helpful, going out of their way to help.

My family of three stayed for four nights in a double room on the lower ground floor. The room was surprisingly modern, spacious and clean. The bathroom with a shower was of adequate size and the towels were changed daily. Cleaned everyday too. We brought our own soap and shampoo so the lack of toiletries did not bother us. The bed as advertised was very comfortable. Basic facilities but adequate. The hotel is facing the main road but was quiet at night. The location is really great - walking distance to the city's shopping area and many of the city's attraction. The lovely Queen Street gardens which are said to be accessible to members only are opposite the hotel and it was just so nice to come out to the front of the hotel to be able to look at the green. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others. Real great value for money especially when you are on a tight budget.

Stayed with family (two couples and four kids). Good location, clean rooms (very small and not very clean toilets) and basic facilities. Breakfast spread is reasonable and replenished promptly. Overall good value for money.

Recently spent two nights here, very good location, about 15mins walk from Waverley Station. Very clean reception and the room also very clean, bathroom on the smallish side but was not a problem. Lovely area opposite Qyeen Street gardens and a few minutes walk to the city centre. Have to mention the bed, it was one of the most comfiest beds we have slept in, advert on the tele really does confirm this.
Would recommend this travelodge to anyone .

The location is excellent but you are really paying for it as there is little else to boast for this hotel. The service is poor to say the least; you always have to make an effort to get staff attention and when I did, I was unsuccessful in attempting to get an iron and ironing board. I'd have thought this should be an absolute basic. Room was ok but no bath. TV was tiny and located in such a way that you could only sit at one angle to watch it.

Spent 2 nights here and it was clean, comfortable and in an excellent central location. We have spent more in the past in mediocre bed & breakfast establishments - never again! Minor criticisms - duvet is too warm for summer months and curtains are thin and let in too much early morning light.
