We stayed there when Princes Street was shut, so that wasn't great as we travelled by car. With having 2 children and luggage it wasn't ideal. We had to park on a street closest to it, then walk until we found it. We then had to do a self check in, which wouldn't be good if you had just got off a flight in the early hours of the morning!.
The staff were nice and the rooms were lovely. We had to queue for ten minutes before being seated for breakfast as it was so busy.
It was handy because it was located close to everything we wanted to do.
In the early hours of each morning, the buckets got emptied and it wakened us up each time, this lasted for ten minutes. We mentioned it and the receptionist said they got emptied at 8am, untrue because that was the time i woke after i eventually got back to sleep hours after they'de been. She refunded one of the nights for us, then told us to ask for a quieter room next time, (possibly admitting the bucket men didn't come at a reasonable 8am).More
