Wonderfully located hotel in a recently refurbushed building. All on upper floors, but disabled facilities, good lift access (change at first floor level) and security passes are all part of the deal.

Didn't dine for breakfast or evening meal but it looked nice, on the first floor near reception, with a fantastic view over Princes Street, the gardens and the castle.

Staff go that 'extra mile' to help if there's a problem, they are able to help in a considerate manner even though the problem might be outwith their control.

Only fault was to do with the air conditioning which should have been covered under the defects liability period but for the three nights we were there all we got was very hot without a window to open.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking Princes Street and a view of Edinburgh Castle, but ensure that the air co...

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel for four nights and had a spectacular view of the castle from our room.

Most of the tourist attractions and train stations are within a walking distance from the hotel.

The members of the hotel staff were polite and happy to provide their assistance.

The linen and bathroom facilities were clean.

Room Tip: The hotel is located next to the starbucks on princes street. The breakfast at the "Kitchen...

Superb location in the centre of the city, excellent breakfasts, lovely room and great staff - only 10 minutes stroll from the station and close to all the centre attractions

Dont miss the National Museum of Scotland - its brilliant and free !!

Try to book a room on the 5th or 6th floor on the frontage - the castle is fanastic at night

We decided to stay with all Premier Inn property during our UK vacation. Coming from the Premier Inn in London, we didn't think we would have any more positive surprises staying at another same brand property... But this place... wow

It was conveniently close to the central train station. The check in process was again, super easy. And the room they gave us, just wow. Right in front of the Edinburgh castle. The view was just breathtaking for the early bird none refundable price we paid.

The interior set up of all Premier Inns are the same, Comfortable beds, adequate storage spaces, clean everything, nice bathroom with necessities along with friendly staffs.

I would most definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 3 nights for a weekend away with mates.Great location central for Royal Mile & Castle.
Good value and very clean Plan to return hopefully for the New Year . We had very hot weather which was great but all the windows in our rooms didn't open! Is this right in a hotel?... Only other point .. we would have used hotel bar if they had a choice of DRAUGHT BEER !!!!

Room Tip: higher rooms have best view
