First impression may not be one of 'wow' but it's not all about the cover! Extremely friendly and helpful staff who make you feel that nothing is too much. Room was spotlessly clean with plenty of space. The bed and pillows extremely comfortable. Good location, was there for the Fringe, didn't take long to walk anywhere. Lots going on around and about the hotel. Breakfast was very good both continental and full. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff were amazing, excellent, friendly, fantastic. Location is fantastic and overall expirience was second to none. Absolutely no complaints at all. If you turn your nose to Premier Inn as it is a 'budget' hotel you are sadly mistaken. Will definitely use again and have already recommended to everyone I speak to. 10/10

I've never stayed in a Premier Inn before but chose this due to the positive reviews on here, it's central location, and reasonable price.
All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and of a good siz,e and the breakfast pretty good for the price.
The location of the hotel is a really great base from which to explore the city, and there are some lovely views of the castle.
I somehow managed to walk straight past the entrance of the hotel when looking for it, so although it's obvious when you see it, keep an eye on the door numbers as you walk up the street the first time!

The friendliest staff of any Premier Inn I've stayed at, quite something as I have never stayed at anything but a friendly Premier Inn. Everything from a phone conversation prior to my visit and everytime during my visit I was greeted in a friendly and professional style.

The hotel is on Princes Street, a great central location with superb views of the castle. Great bars, restaurants and shops all close by. Only 5/10 mins walk from Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station. Rooms were up to the usual high and consistent standard of Premier Inn.

A great hotel, in a great location, with great staff. I'll definitely be staying again.

Travelling with my old Mum was had three days here and was cared for with enthusiasm and amiles. Great Location, the entrance on the ground floor is by lift to reception, bar and resteraunt.and then a seperate lift up to the bedrooms.. Nicely fitted rooms, very clean, was a bit mean with the tea, coffee and milks in the room.

My family stayed at this Princes Street Premier Inn during the Fringe Festival and Military Tattoo. What a great hotel! We were extremely happy with our room for 4 which was large enough for us to move about and for our luggage. The bathroom was big with good water pressure. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They greeted us each day as we came and went and asked how we were enjoying our time. They even gave us suggestions for restaurants and activities. The location couldn't be beat - along Princes Street with all the shopping and easy walking to the castle which was much appreciated late at night after the Tattoo! Breakfast was 8.25 per adult, but kids ate free so it was economical for the family. The breakfast buffet was outstanding! The internet is only free for 30 minutes a day, but each person with their own device got their own 30 min so that was fine. We were very comfortable and even requested extra pillows which were brought up immediately. This hotel made our stay in Edinburgh perfect and we would definitely stay there again!
